2012 ORIMS Edward C. Ricketts Curling Bonspiel

The first ORIMS curling event was held in 1982. February, 13, 2012 marked the 30th anniversary of the bonspiel - now held in memory of Edward C. Ricketts. This year's event was held at the beautiful St. George's Golf & Country Club on Monday, February 13, 2012. The event was a sell out and a great day of curling was enjoyed by all! The winning teams were:

1st Place: Granite Claims Solutions John Jones, Jack Lee, Breckon Husband and Ken Armstrong

2nd Place: The Dominion Leigh Armstrong, Jessica Galbiati - Scopis, Kasia Maj and Curtis Thompson

3rd Place: Union Gas Brian DeRooy, John Harris, Paul Burns, and John Lloyd

Our thanks to all of our members and guests who attended and to those who generously donated to the raffle prize table...with the grand prize being a 32" TV donated by McCague Borlack. As a result of this wonderful support, proceeds in the amount of $2,000 were donated to WICC.
