ORIMS held its Professional Development Day on Wednesday March 9, 2011 at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto.
The day featured breakfast keynote speaker, and former Attorney General, Michael Bryant who recounted his political ups and downs including instituting a ban on pit bulls in Ontario and the debate around the use of Sharia Law in family arbitration hearings.
Plenary and concurrent session topics included: hot topic update, fact scenarios, and the risk manager, insurance and the law, catastrophic losses and managing rogue employees. The day concluded with a networking reception.
